After an extensive survey and testing of the available solutions on the market, both onshore and then onboard, we are pleased to announce that our weather analysis and weather routing solution TACTiCS has been chosen to be the routing solution of the Group fleet.
The deployment of TACTiCS onboard the Group’s fleet is the perfect illustration of its versatility, which has been the DNA of our developments for more than a decade. It shows the ability to deal with complex energy management of cruise ships with specific hotel load, and then to deal with various propulsion setups: power-driven vessels, hybrid vessels (such as Le Ponant), and sailing vessels (such as Spirit of Ponant).
