Senior Maritime Sales Manager - Navigation & Green Tech Systems
We are seeking a strong, highly autonomous Senior Maritime Sales Manager to develop and manage our business with Greek shipowners and eco system. You will be based in Greece, operating in the Greek maritime market, and you will act as a key commercial driver for growth. You will not just respond to leads but proactively challenge shipowners on how to navigate, manage fuel use and adopt new digital/green systems.

About the position
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage strategic accounts in Greece (shipowners, shipyards, integrators) whose fleets seek next-gen navigation/eco-efficiency solutions.
- Lead full sales cycle (prospecting → solution design → negotiation → closing) for complex B2B opportunities (12-24 month cycles).
- Adopt a consultative and challenger mindset: you will challenge the status quo of your customers, propose fresh insights and showcase how our tech systems deliver business value (fuel savings, emission reduction, operational performance).
- Collaborate with internal engineering, product and marketing teams to craft tailored proposals for the next generation navigation system.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis and customer feedback to refine our positioning in the Greek maritime market.
- Represent D-ICE at industry conferences, customer workshops and on-site customer meetings in Greece.
- Based on results and performance in Greece, you will be asked to lead the sales in surrounding countries
Required Skills
We are looking for a dynamic and autonomous person with a strong appetite for innovation and the maritime world, willing to join an ambitious and fast-growing company.
Required Skills & Experience
- MSc degree in Engineering or Business School
- 8—10+ years of experience in complex B2B sales in maritime/offshore sectors (shipping, marine renewables, O&G, equipment suppliers)
- Experience Selling Complex or Technical Systems
- Hunter Mindset and Ability to Open New Markets
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to Structure and Drive Sales Strategy with Autonomy
- Fluent in English and Greek. Any other language is a plus.
Based in Greece (Athens/Piraeus region preferred) with willingness for occasional travel abroad Soft Skills
