Senior Fullstack Engineer

D-ICE Engineering is a deep-tech company founded in 2015 in Nantes. Our mission is to address three major challenges in the maritime sector: reducing the carbon footprint, enhancing safety at sea, and promoting clean energy production. To achieve this, we rely on a diverse range of expertise, including multiphysics simulation, scientific software development, marine engineering, and advanced navigation systems.

Today, the company has approximately 40 engineers and PhDs specializing in hydrodynamics, applied mathematics, robotics, control systems, and software engineering.

In 2024, D-ICE successfully raised €6 million in funding, marking a significant milestone in accelerating the commercialization of high-impact solutions for the maritime industry, thereby contributing to a more sustainable and decarbonized future.

We are currently looking for a new team member to join the S4.0 (Systems and Software) team. You will contribute to the development of our various online products and services, such as Tactics, Squid, Satori, Shiplify, among others. Under the supervision of an experienced team leader and within a team of high-level experts and scientists, your main mission will be to technically lead the development of our products and manage their roadmaps in collaboration with the product owners.

You will maintain high programming standards and apply modern, state-of-the-art methods for software development and cloud architecture.You will also participate in the quality process, including continuous integration and documentation.Some travels are expected for system installations on board ships, infrastructure deployments, and product presentations to customers.

With a strong technical and scientific background, ideally with an interest in the maritime or sailing sector, you are fully equipped to engage in complex and multidisciplinary projects. You have a strong passion for technological challenges. With excellent interpersonal skills, you are fully autonomous and capable of integrating ambitious projects with international partners and clients. You wish to thrive within a dynamic company, take on a role with significant responsibilities, and contribute to the fight against climate change.

• Formation : Master/Engineering school/Doctorate specialized in computer science
• Skills :
  • Excellent JS/React expertise, ideally React Native
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture (design patterns, git, docker, etc.)
  • Knowledge of mobile development appreciated (React Native)
  • Good Python Knowledge
  • Professional English
